Stair Rods: Premier Stair Rods

Premier stair rods specification:

Unlike many stair rods, which are hollow, these are solid core, with all-in-one, integral finials (decorative ends), and are supplied with a pair of high quality stair rod brackets and screws, in a co-ordinating finish.

Designs:

The six Premier designs are traditional in their origins, classically elegant and suitable for most standard width staircases.

Finishes:

There are ten finishes: polished brass, antique brass, satin brass, pewter, chrome, satin nickel, black plus three new contemporary finishes: antique bronze, polished nickel and brushed chrome.

Suitability:

Ideal for runners and fitted carpets or natural flooring. For runners select the runner brackets, for fitted options select the front fix or side fix brackets. For further information about the difference between the style of bracket, please see Measuring & Fitting Rods.

Dimensions & fitting:

Your Premier carpet rods are made-to-measure to fit your staircase. For advice on the length to order, please go to Measuring & Fitting Rods. It is important to note that like most rods, the Premier are purely decorative and do not fix the carpet to the stairs: your flooring must be secured by another means of installation.

Cleaning your stair rods:

The Premier design of stair rods has an invisible lacquer to keep them looking pristine. Simply wipe clean occasionally, and do not polish.

Delivery:

We aim to deliver the brass finishes within 6 working days in the UK, whereas the black, chrome, satin nickel, polished nickel, brushed chrome and pewter finishes can take up to 21 days. Delivery is free of charge for all orders over £50.00.

Style tips:

Fitting a stairrod to the bottom step (hall or landing level) is a popular option, as it helps to create a visually balanced look. We can supply curved options for bottom step(s), as special orders - please ask for further details.
