Orders over £75.00 incl VAT are delivered free of charge to most UK mainland addresses. Under £75.00 the charge is £8.95 including VAT. For the Highlands, certain Scottish postcodes and off-shore islands a fixed delivery charge of £15.00 incl VAT applies. For the Isle of Wight and Channel Islands a fixed charge of £20.00 incl VAT applies. Regrettably, we are currently unable to deliver to Republic of Ireland nor Northern Ireland.
Ultra narrow double z bar to transition between carpets
Choose from 10 fashionable colours or finishes
The Premier Slim D door thresholds are an ultra narrow, just 16mm wide Double Z bar for joining carpets together in a doorway or across a room. These door bars achieve a stylish and minimalist look and are offered in a choice of 10 colours/finishes.
However, unlike the standard Premier Double Z9 bar (30mm wide) which has a needled base strip which holds the carpet firmly under tension, the Slim D has no such base section and therefore the carpet must be held in place with standard gripper instead.
Ideal for quality carpet up to around 12mm thick (excluding underlay) which compress down to around 9mm deep.
The two base floors should be level with each other, as this double z bar needs to lie flat.
Once fitted, the Premier Slim D can be ‘napped down’ with a carpeted wood block, depressing into the carpet and avoiding a trip hazard.
Made with a solid brass bar, with rounded edges, in a choice of 10 smart, unlacquered, metal finishes.
Available in 4 lengths which you can cut to length with a sharp hack-saw: 900mm, 1000mm, 1800mm and 2700mm.

The visible bar or top of these Double Naplocks is 16mm (just over 1/2″) wide and approximately 4mm thick.

Looking after and cleaning your door thresholds
This product is made of solid brass and hand-finished and therefore may vary slightly from batch to batch. To achieve an authentic look and withstand daily use, they are unlacquered and therefore may age naturally over time, depending on their environment. The high quality range of Premier door thresholds are mostly made from solid brass and offered in a choice of 10 different finishes. These options are achieved using a variety of manufacturing processes, including powder coating, plating, polishing and chemical antiquing and are hand-finished. Therefore, any given finish may vary slightly from batch to batch and compared to any given sample.
