The CAP IT door threshold bars are available in a minimum order quanity of 3 in 900mm and 2715mm lengths. However, it is possible to order less than 3 if you are also purchasing 3 or more of a different door threshold from the same range (any of the thresholds except for the Posh, Symwood or Joints), in which case, please telephone to place your order: T 01295 722831.

Suitability:

The CAP IT door threshold strips, are specifically designed to join carpet to ceramic tiles, creating a professional and secure join in doorways, which is neat, elegant and secure. The tile butts up against the vertical edge, which is about 1cms in height, and the carpet is held in place on the integral gripper. An alternative way to join carpet to tiles in similar finishes are the Feline A10 and Feline A13 - with this design the tile fits under the visible door bar, rather than butting up against it.

Specification of the Cap It door strip:

Made from high grade, solid aluminium, in a choice of two finishes, the Cap-It is continuous with no visible screws. The visible threshold bar is 1/2" wide or around 2.5cms wide (25mm) and comes in 900m (0.9m) and 2715mm (2.715m) lengths: the latter you can cut into multiple door thresholds with a sharp hack-saw, to fit the dimensions of your doorways.

Finishes:

Choose from Polished Aluminium (mirror finish) or Satin Aluminium (matt, silver effect). Fitting:

Simply cut to length using a sharp hack-saw, screw to the floor using the pre-drilled holes with an appropriate type of screw for your flooring (not supplied).

Cleaning your Cap IT door threshold:

All that is needed is a dust from time to time. Avoid water as this may mark the metal finish.
