A guide to choosing the correct length for your stair rods.
When buying your stair rods it is important that you choose the correct length. Please consider our guidance below.
We advise that the rod length should be 100mm (4") over the width of your stair runner.
For Example if your stair runner carpet is 690mm (27") wide, the correct length stair rods would be approx 790mm (31").
The only exceptions are the the Royale range (with Beaumont or Louis finials) and the Blacksmith Spear finial, where the rod should be 150mm (6") over the width of your stair runner.
 
For stairs with winders, please consult your carpet fitter for measurement advise.
 
Rod measurements should be tip to tip!
 
 
Don't forget a rod for your bottom step!
