About Carpetrunners

Carpetrunners was established in 2003 and we originally sold stair rods direct. We sell a wide selection of carpet stair rod designs in solid brass, hollow aluminium and wood, including those from the highly respected UK manufacturer, Stairrods UK. We also sell stair rod brackets on their own and can offer a refurbishing service for antique stair rods.

Today, we offer a far wider choice of products for the home, which you can't easily find on the high street. We offer probably the widest choice of door thresholds, sometimes referred to as Z bars or door bars and door threshold plates, which join all types of flooring in a doorway. Smart and elegant, they can transform a room; we also sell wooden door thresholds, solid brass door thresholds in a variety of finishes and solid aluminium door plates, to suit most homes.

We continue to seek out unusual, decorative and practical ideas for our customers, including an attractive range of metal boot racks, to protect your flooring from dirt and electric tubular heaters, which attach to the floor or wall and keep the chill off your home.
